INTRODUCING THE CLUBThe Storrington Lawn Tennis Club, founded in 1938, is a friendly Club which warmly welcomes new members. It caters for all standards of play, from beginners to team players. It is situated on the edge of Storrington in an idyllic location just at the foot of the South Downs. The Club runs a number of teams in the senior and junior section which compete against various clubs in the county, both during the summer and winter months.
Our Head coach is Nigel Matthews, he is a CCA qualified LTA coach and offers both group and private coaching sessions. A number of tennis and social events are hosted during the year culminating with the Club Tournament finals in September. All senior members are welcome to use the bar facilities of the adjacent squash club.
The Club is run by a team of energetic committee members who work hard to maintain and improve the Club for everyone. If you would like to participate in the running of the club, we are always looking for fresh thinking. Contact me on 01798 812522 if you are interested.
