CLUB TEAMS

LADIES TEAMS

There are five Ladies teams at Storrington and we play six matches throughout the summer and five in the winter. Team practice nights with the coach are on Mondays (teams 4 &5) and Wednesdays for the higher teams. Anyone interested in playing for a team or coming to these practices should give me a call, you will be made most welcome.

The 1st team did particularly well in the Sussex league this summer, winning all of their matches and being promoted to division 1. They have also won all four of their matches so far this winter in division 3 with the 2nd - 5th teams, in divisions 6, 8, and 11 respectively, having mixed results. On Sundays and occasionally during the week in the winter we try to get eight team players of mixed ability together so that we get practice playing with different people. We try to have a couple of social team events a year which are held in the Clubhouse or at a team member's home.

 MENS TEAMS

There are five Mens teams at Storrington and we play matches throughout the summer and winter seasons. Team practice night with the coach is on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm.

The 1st team are currently in County division 1 in both Summer and winter leagues. The 2nd and 3rd teams both gained promotion this summer from Divisions 7 and 9 respectively. The Men's 4th (Div 10) and 5th (Div 11) teams both finished mid table.
